Two friends – Bindas (cool and carefree) and Ban Ton Banavati (designer clothes and alligator shoes type) caught up after been long time no see moment in life.
The friend Bindas visiting her pal Banavati was starry eyed and perplexed upon looking at her friend Banavati bedecked in traditional costume, heavy antique jewelry and 24/7 beauticians aided make-up greeting her at the door step while looking all around to see all eyes are set on her alone.
The bemused Bindas queried her friend Banavati – if she was about to attend any special Royal occasion or on her way to participate in a pompous pageantry headed by ornately decorated horses, camels and elephants in a procession enthusiastically cheered by spectators competitively dressed in their fineries and best outfit otherwise would have been barred from entry.
Banavati posed a banavati (fake) grin for those constant gazers and watchful eyes fixated on her attire and appearance than anything else (albeit ignoring own life and routines including personal hygiene) quipped nonchalantly that’s her 24/7 – 365 days i.e. precisely 31,536,000 (31.5million) seconds image is oriented and styled in extravagance and ostentatious garb to appease and impress those ever wooing all things banavati i.e. make-over, make-believe plasticity and fake identity.
Bindas casually asked her friend Ban Ton Banavati – what about the time like attending nature calls, retiring at night for sleep and say a stroll down the street or a nearby park for fresh air?
Do you still maintain such emergence?
Banavati again looked at the bugged walls, ceiling and other surroundings with camera and spyware to ensure attention of perverts keeping tabs on her daily life to the minutiae never missing out on any details from her food menu to personal (though the term is arbitrary to perverts) functions and her private family conversations leaving no omissions…that her 24/7 getup was the way she is presented at the time being – nothing short of bling, glimmer, flicker and glitter adding such imagery is the only thing valued and respected by perverts in the so-called high society ever remaining high (pun intended) and sold out on fakery bakery.
Banavati then managed her laughter to perverts’ desired decibel and told her friend Bindas that laughter is also checked by them and expected to be contained within their controlled settings even in the confines of her home which obviously is no longer her personal dwelling with invasive intrusive lewd crude peeping toms and their hired variety obsessed with her private life denying any privacy or freedom.
Bindas with deep concern for her friend Banavati exclaimed that she sees her friend buried in those finery and dazzle while her lifeless face behind the cosmetic brand reveals her lifestyle to please those who apparently have no life of their own considering their indecent perverse indulgence telling others what attracts them most exemplified in sadism and narcissism.
Bindas then gently reminded her dear friend Banavati that the one denounced and ridiculed as half-naked-fakir (pauper) for his waist below cotton sarong and bare torso – none other than the one who came to be known as Mahatma Gandhi led the freedom movement with freedom fighters clad in plain white khadi (woven cotton fabric) clothes challenging the imperialistic Royalty in shimmering silks and diamonds (all stolen from the colonized nation) made the latter Quit India.
Or,
For that matter, the real deal original Royal Prince Siddharta renounced his princely life only to be gladly draped in simple cotton robe and enlightened the world as Lord Gautam Buddha with wealth of knowledge for purposeful life and beyond.
Bindas took leave from her friend Banavati to live her life on her terms like the birds soaring up the sky or a swan dipping in the midstream lake amidst natural beauty galore endowed by mother nature.
