United States – Arizona Maricopa County 2020 Presidential Election Forensic Audit

The long awaited election audit based on forensic science involving the state of Arizona’s Maricopa County, the highlight of election integrity violation in the 2020 Presidential election in the United States is the tip of the iceberg.

The objection to the process and even the mere idea to conduct audit not surprisingly unwelcome from those unwilling to submit to any scrutiny. The democrats and some republican members along with Tech giants dominant in the social media platform, the news media and the television networks’ role contributed to the 2020 Presidential election in becoming controversial and contentious event. 

Nonetheless, the ongoing scientific forensic audit in plain sight amid extensive safeguard measures including surveillance camera and other advanced techniques conforming to transparency is a necessary approach to rectify serious errors and anomalies in the electoral system.

Furthermore, in failing to address the existing problems in elections create existential threat to democracy and constitutionality. The current experience in the 2020 Presidential election set precedence in voter mistrust with diminishing faith in free and fair elections.

The electronic voting machines calibrations, the voting apparatus linked to internet and intranet connections facilitating real time access for re-configurations and management of live voting activities are major issues to be ignored under the convenient assertion of conspiracy theory. 

Besides, the state procedural breach, constitutional transgressions in the state and federal level, state legislators and administrators discretionary actions denying the legal voters the basic rights to question the missing ballots, discarded and deleted votes that tantamount to voter fraud culminate the requirement for forensic audit.

Those in opposition to the necessary examination of election abnormalities are only exacerbating the obvious electorate dissatisfaction in the accuracy of election  result in the 2020 Presidential election.

The 2020 Presidential election vote counting methods causing great concerns and grievance among legal electorate i.e. the 74 million registered voters declined fair assessment and transparent evaluation of complaints filed with relevant authorities in the disputed states leads to perceptions such as election aberrancy. 

Similarly, many voters on the other side are not completely satisfied either in the legitimacy of the 2020 Presidential election outcome.

Accordingly, the scientific forensic audit in Maricopa County, Arizona is the corner stone in dealing with corruption and mitigating election meddling from foreign and domestic  agents targeting democracy and fundamental voting rights.

Any democracy is sustainable with clean, free and fair election barring foreign interference and local obstructions that are the norm and continue to sabotage ethical efficacy in elections.

The other states’ delegates visiting Maricopa County, Arizona in the past week could follow suit to establish trustworthiness and mandatory procedural guidelines that were neglected in the 2020 Presidential election. In correcting the deviations, the action would certainly reflect positive transformation in the election reform.

Nothing to hide then nothing to fear except winning voter confidence in the upcoming and future elections.
