The Paradoxical Paris Climate Treaty

Paris Climate treaty might be intended to protect environment. However, when the leading signatory prior to current administration’s withdrawal – the United States sponsored terrorism in western and Middle East coalition war against Syria dating back to 2011 and continued until today is a prime example of environment degradation, the accord has little validity.
Syrian conflict falsely propagated in the international syndicate controlled media as civil war has imposed extreme environment woes and air pollution causing the return of once eradicated diseases like polio.
Similarly, U.S. and Israel backed Saudi aggression in Yemen has contributed among thousands of civilian deaths, the reemergence of cholera in that North African nation.
In Syria, the U.S. and allies funded and trained terrorists since 2011 have poisoned wells and water supply in civilian territories notwithstanding cannibalism witnessed in 2012, 2013 amongst the U.S. and alliance backed terror outfits exacerbating sanitary conditions in the civilian occupied towns and villages of the war torn country.
Overall Syria, Afghanistan and Yemen having become the permanent war zones for hegemonic goals in the United States led warfare, the toll on environment besides human lives and livestock in these countries are immeasurable.
Another example is Sudan with U.S. and Israel along with their allies intervention in bifurcation of the largest African Nation establishing South Sudan erupting in political chaos and massive unrest in 2012 were not without harming environment.
Amid these dire environment and humanitarian crisis under the former President Barack Obama’s administration in these regions, initiating Paris Climate Treaty without ending the wars contributing to serious environment problems making survival impossible that triggered population exodus from Syria, Yemen,Sudan and Afghanistan to name a few is paradoxical.
In the absence of concluding wars not only costing innocent lives and livelihoods but also polluting and contaminating air, water and soil in these war torn nations,
Paris Climate Treaty is incomplete in only addressing carbon emissions suggesting symptomatic remedy while ignoring carcinogenic effects from continuous shelling and bombing along with drone and air strikes as routine operations that began in the past decade and ongoing with no end in sight.
Not to mention United States and other nuclear powers overland and subterranean nuclear testing carried out with no care or concern for environment.
Syria under these circumstances abstaining from Paris Climate Treaty is a legitimate position drawing the terror sponsors viz. United States and allies attention to their actions posing existential threat to Syrian lives and environment.
Paris Climate Treaty would be meaningful upon resolving and concluding these wars in various parts of the world especially Syria, Afghanistan and Yemen combined with universal nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation without exception.
Until then Paris Climate Treaty is a partial opportunity neglecting crucial issues threatening environment and existence.
Thank you.
