Syria – Under Attack
Upon New U.S. Administration in Power

DAMASCUS, Syria (AP) — “Syrian state media said Israeli warplanes fired several missiles toward central Syria early on Friday, killing a family of four — including two children — and wounding four other people. There was no immediate comment from Israel on the claim.” – Associated Press in Syria Report – Thank you.
Syria has been bogged down in conflict over a decade that was started under predecessor Barack Obama – Joe Biden administration in 2011. The unnecessary foreign intrusion by then U.S. administration also embarked on creating terror networks such as IS, ISIS, AL-NUSRA front and various terror offshoots consuming over a million lives turning Syria and surrounding states into a permanent war zone. Then administration’s ambition not limited to terror sponsorship and evolved into cannibalism subjecting local inhabitants to horrific crimes against humanity. Then U.S. government and allies involvement left millions in Syria and neighboring states refugees in their homeland.
Israel taking advantage of the new Biden – Emhoff administration’s anti-peace policy in Syria essentially the continuation of Barack Obama’s middle east policy is counterproductive and self-destructive for the Jewish State demanding middle east and rest of the world to recognize Israel’s status quo amid ongoing relentless aggression with no desire for ceasefire.
The politically embattled Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s persistent efforts to deflect Israeli citizens’ attention from burgeoning domestic issues has been consistent to maintain position in power. The political instability from unconstitutional undemocratic electoral victory in return triggering disagreement on government budget to run affairs, the economic crisis accompanied by unemployment and COVID19 barely contained in the state, the incumbent military assault on neighbor Syria is revival of humanitarian disaster and tensions in the volatile region.
Israeli leadership focus on domestic priorities rather than foreign intrusions would demonstrate the government commitment to Israeli electorate dragged into polls for the fourth time in two years.
The Biden administration return to Paris climate treaty is meaningless when those pledged to this accord remain committed to promoting bombing, shelling, air strikes, missile attacks that poisons air, water and land inflicting environment and economic damages besides human casualties making ordinary innocent civilians in foreign land viz. children, women, elderly and young men paying the price.
This is precisely the reason for my personal opposition to Paris Climate Treaty in 2015 that pretended to save environment while showing little or no interest to relinquish hawkish policy authorizing military interventions and terror sponsorship carried out by then Barack Obama – Joe Biden administration during the two terms i.e. 2009 until 2016 in office in direct violation of peace honored via Nobel Peace Prize.
Unless the administrations coming to power renounce all forms of violence and warfare on and offshore, the executive orders and congressional actions only serve political showmanship and not the actual cause related to environment, economy and humanitarian issues.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu having exhausted ways and means to remain in office, the indulgence in foreign land whether Syria or elsewhere further confirm the leadership’s disconnect with own citizens and domestic challenges flagrantly neglected in the unnecessary pursuit that is best laid to rest.
The loss of lives in any situation is regrettable more so when children fall victims to government and those behind government’s belligerent policy. Nonetheless, such engagements are condemnable.
Thank you.
