Religion and Politics

Any religion misused and exploited for political, ideological and personal goals is blasphemy. The strategy abusing religion to gain and remain in power is confirmation of leadership failure and broken apparatus hopelessly in pursuit of any means in the power struggle.
The current tradition to polarize society and humanity at large invest heavily on politics buttressed by incorrigibly corrupt crony media along with local and foreign instigation targeting anything and anyone to inflict nerve damage. The assault on nerve is aimed at desensitization. The ones incessantly attacked and abused are expected to accept the trend as normal.
However, for the abusers the abusive pattern causing internal psychological havoc within with ripple effects on physical, mental and emotional well being among the source and catalysts far outweigh any sadist pleasure and satisfaction from such behavior.
The negative traits to hurt and harm anyone under the guise of religion and other social, economic or individual background expose the hosts’ vulnerabilities and susceptibility to succumb to own hatched confab and self-invited mortification.
The proverbial digging grave for others invariably land the diggers in the grave is incontrovertible.
As for religion and religiousness, politics having lately transformed into theatrics the pseudo passion coated with malice is effused in media drama in the name of debate. The shenanigans in the highly dramatized fashion is not limited to media platform but also on display in Parliament or Congress touted as democracy with emphasis on the so-called world’s largest and so on.
The agenda resulting in self-mortification is no different from a terrorist slipping into suicide bomb gear to apparently salvage religion or settle political scores neglecting the stark naked ignorance and absurdity inhibiting rational conduct and ultimately yielding significant blow.
The true vanguards of religion would never subject own or other religions to political baiting and sensationalized impulsive rancor to derive mass attention and publicity. Not to mention repercussions from the organized scheme perpetuating social turbulence.
The self-declared guardians on religion would distance and disassociate from political parties and media circus profiteering from indignation of prophets of any religion and religious sentiments with no shred of respect or reverence for faiths in general including the one claimed in representation.
The only attribute resulting from pretentious portrayal of defending religion or religious deity is fanaticism legitimately attracting condemnation.
In the height of miserable leadership obsessed with personal image and glory not without external infusion to create political cult, the concept and practicality of constitutional governed democracy is permanently laid in the coffin and pronounced dead.
The corruption free elections barring manipulation of electronic voting machines, bribes with notes for votes and horse trading using black money wiping political opposition remain the wildest dream and myth.
Amidst the reality, the status quo yet proclaimed the world’s largest democracy is at best obsequious and worst disingenuous.
The inherent aspirations among the anti-democratic and anti-unity forces harvesting on divisive politics and discord consistently prey on segments generationally disenfranchised, disadvantaged and disposed as irrelevant in society except when utilizing them to advance oppressive politics asserting societal hierarchy and superiority entrenched in casteism, classism and condescendence.
The caustic political environment seeped in hatred, prejudice, misogyny and diverse discriminatory practice is embellished as togetherness towards progress in political sloganeering adding insult to intelligence in the overt authoritarian paradoxical democratic system.
The ravenous appetite for power, fame and constant self-adulation promoting narcissistic culture eye religion to catapult the ominously saddled position on precipitous decline.
Religion exploitation delivers appropriate judgment witnessed and experienced since time immemorial and the contemporary promiscuity on theology is no exception in this regard.
