India – Democracy a Major Hypocrisy
India is evidently anything but democratic due to the following reasons.
Indian politics is primarily represented by three segments in society. The privileged emerging from dynasty and nepotism politics, corporate capitalists / industrialists and celebrities from entertainment industry.
Anyone not among this exclusive category are barred from entry into politics using bizarre and preposterous explanations witnessed in the ex-BSF soldier Tej Bahadur Yadav’s plight in his attempt to run for public office.
The political establishment together with diverse media across the spectrum judiciously obliging their colonial masters’ devious unscrupulous strategy is the trend.
The moves straight out of their colonial masters’ playbook in attributing crafty enactments and false propaganda via proxies being their representatives is a desperate measure and a lost cause for everyone of them engaged in deplorable deeds.
In emulating their colonial masters’ insidious traits and connivance, the wannabes and opportunists in Indian politics, entertainment and crony media lecturing on political propriety and boundary is indeed their left hand not knowing their right hand caught in the cookie jar or worst.
India ever remains the vassal state with obsequious politics and toady contingency in communication outlets vigorously competing to impress their feudalists and globalists masters much to self-embarrassment and humiliation.
While the political class and sycophants in multimedia have serious credibility problems considering non-correlation between their speech and actions including own legacy,
They slander their target specifically for speaking the truth and laying bare facts substantiating on issues aptly describing their role in the position of authority and ethical efficacy invariably oxymoron to them.
The political regimes surrogates in cyberspace spewing venom with inflammatory terms such as weapons of mass destruction (WMD) actually aimed at their intended subject slyly masqueraded by images of one of their members clarify their crass not to mention their signature identity in the art of WMD – Weapons of Mass Deception designed to self- detriment.
As for eligibility criteria and application of law on candidates in the election,
Interestingly, those who are contesting in the current Indian election,
Congress Party President Rahul Gandhi and Chair person Sonia Gandhi are on bail. Rahul Gandhi is also accused in gang rape.
Likewise the high profile former minister P. Chidambaram and his son Karti Chidambaram are also on bail. Similarly, the Congress MP Shashi Tharoor seeking re-election from southern state Kerala in legal quagmire on criminal investigation.
Congress Party members DigVijay Singh of Madhya Pradesh and former law minister Kapil Sibal feature in major corruption list.
BJP party – the controversial Pragya Singh Thakur serving as proxy and convenient dissemination resource for anybody dying to avenge revenge is a contestant amid trial process on terror charges and bomb blasts in the western state Maharashtra.
BJP Lok Sabha MP and candidate Bollywood actress Hema Malini having joined politics explicitly for tax evasion given past experience on income tax raid prior to being in politics is also culpable in hit and run manslaughter resulting in the fatality of a three years old infant and deserting the critically injured family in the crime scene.
Yet another familiar BJP contender and Narendra Modi’s intimate cabinet minister television soap opera actress Ms. Smriti Irani has committed perjury at least four times in her sworn Affidavit in the four terms of election nomination documents up until now.
The incumbent PM candidate Narendra Modi is facing inquiry on direct engagement in Rafale scandal pending Supreme Court review.
Amit Shah – the most wanted for heinous crimes from instigating communal violence to hiring hitmen to murder anyone regarded an obstacle on the duos path – i.e. Amit Shah and Narendra Modi.
Amit Shah’s son Jay Shah – the overnight billionaire in massive financial and agriculture commodity business fraud. Both father and son are VIP candidates in Narendra Modi’s owned general election.
Uttar Pradesh political parties high profile members – BSP chief Mayawati and others have established record on corruption notwithstanding their close liaison with individuals having committed murders and other criminal activities in society.
Tamil Nadu politicians – the former chief ministers Jayalalitha and Karunanidhi achieved notoriety in this regard with both of them on their part implicated on corruption and sentenced to prison.
In this respect, every state in India contributes politicians involved in corruption scandals and several incriminating episodes in their political journey in varying proportions.
Despite their tainted trajectory, they have been elected as Chief Minister, Prime Minister and ministers in key cabinet posts other than them representing the country in Parliament and State assembly respectively.
As though that were not enough, they are also celebrated and revered with their statues in public square at ordinary citizens expense demonstrating political insanity and fanaticism.
Furthermore, none of the political parties and candidates in the past or present ever submit to transparency on campaign financing and party funding protecting the sources and personal interests thus far especially with black money and illegal electoral bonds freely flowing in the election.
The political system is incorrigible in corruption, treason and criminal affairs. Under these circumstances, the conditions applied to reject the ex-BSF soldier Tej Bahadur Yadav’s nomination paper preventing the candidate from election is the biggest irony and travesty of democracy.
The majoritarian reference to religious and communal representation in India arguably favor secularism bearing the minorities in mind.
However, in economic sense the reverse is required given the minorities or the 1% i.e. the affluent, famous and powerful rule over 99% overwhelming majority is the underlying problem with rampant exploitation, violation of basic rights and abuse of power endangering democracy.
How could any nation declare such hypocrisy a democracy?
The vast population in India from all walks of life need to come together and shift the paradigm in declining election victory to the economic minority viz. the political apparatus, industrialists and celebrities exerting superiority and self-priority over the rest in the country.
